Go Celts!

Tonight we took the boys to their first football game at DJHS.  They were both overwhelmed by the noise and people and looked like this for much of the game.  Ray even took a nap on me for about an hour.

Two dum dum suckers and a half time show later Sam started cheering the Celts to victory.  (That is Celts - hard "C" sound - not "s"elts just in case you were wondering.)

And for those of you that appreciate that Celts has a hard "C" sound rather than a "S" sound check out the back of their band uniform and their mascot.  Although, you should know that inside the mascot uniform is a small Asian boy (Sorry to burst your bubble if you thought DJHS was full of red heads and burly men!).

It's always fun to watch Mike's students (and parents of students) get excited to see him out in "public".   It's prety obvious that he is a well liked teacher!  What's not to love when you do things like THIS to teach your students?

(Mike- Sorry babe, just had to throw it out there again... Love you!  P.S.  There are new comments that need to be monitored on you tube.)

  1. That is a pretty amazing teacher alright! If only I had a teacher willing to be that creative maybe it would have not taken me 7 years of classes to speak spanish poorly!

  2. That was such a rad night. Both boys wanted to snuggle, the weather was cool, not crisp, and my new school Celts beat the tar out of my Alma Mater Warriors. Nothing like seeing what the students are like outside of the classroom!
