Life Outside of Sewing

I realize that my recent blogs may lead you to believe that I eat, breathe, and dream about sewing but we have been doing lots of other things too like:

Wandering around OSU, feeding the ducks, eating pizza, checking out the main library renovations and nominating future presidents of the university.

Eating ice cream at the Graeters factory store in Columbus and playing in the play area. Notice Sam is wearing my socks so that he could play.

Going for bike rides in style!

And, of course, being generally goofy!

Cutting mat turned dance floor!

Pudding gone wild.

Not one, not two but, three hats of course!

  1. I loved looking at all the pictures, the one of Ray is hilarious, he looks like he's in chocolate heaven.

  2. The "oh, how many hats we wear" is taken quite literally! Cute pics! That is an awesome bike contraption you have for the boys! I haven't seen anything quite like that one.

  3. Katie - both of the boys are choco-holics. Sam actually asks for it. I think I may have had something to do with that...

Blaire - the bike trailer has a little mesh screen that zips and encloses them too. I love the roll bar feature; it is quite the SUV. It's made by Trek. And yes indeed I (we) wear many many hats!

  4. So there is a story book by Holly Keller called The Hat. My first graders read it this past week in their reading series. For some reason it came to mind while looking at these pics:). Just in case you would want to get it at the library. A fun activity afterwards: making your own hat. For some reason I feel Sam would love it!!!:) LOL
