It is so nice and sunny outside today. I managed to give both stinky boys a bath and then decided we would go outside and play (kind of a reverse order but oh well). We walked to Aldi's and back to get milk. Sam walked about 3/4 of the way there pulling his Wonder Pets back pack the whole time. I'm a horrible calculator of distance but I'd say it would be close to 2 miles round trip so, Sam walked about 3/4 of a mile! (No Mike, we didn't cut through the school we took the long way - Paris on the way their and Dakar to Cairo on the way back) I don't think I'll be running today since I had a nice walk pushing about a 100lbs of fun (32lbs of Sam, 18 lbs of Ray, 40 lbs of stroller, a diaper bag, milk, fruit snacks, juice boxes, and an Arizona Green Tea). I wasn't planning to run today anyways since Mikey has lovely parent/teacher conferences today until 7:30 and I am meeting up with the Women from my Moms Group for Dinner at 6:30 (Joe Joe is coming over to watch the boys). Anyhow I thought you might enjoy my attempts at a picture of the boys together today. In this one they are really hugging (even though it looks like Sam has Ray in a head lock) but of course there are others where they are tackling each other. Don't worry, Ray can hold his own.
It's not letting me post a picture....blast...I'll try again later.
Oh, I had spell check open still... Such a dork... And yes their sweaters somewhat match. No we didn't buy them together. Ray's sweater was actually Sam's and Sam just got the other one for Christmas from Grandma Charlotte.
you are simply crazy. I love your adventures! Such a cute picture, remind Joe to keep Sam awake until I get home so I can see him. I miss you guys.

Those are some wacky names for streets! Not many people can say they walked to Cairo today.
ReplyDeleteAll of our streets are capitals. We live on Buenos Aires. There is Paris, Madrid, Mexico, Stockholm, Santiago, etc. It made me brush up on my geography a bit!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is there isn't a Rabat?
ReplyDeleteSadly no there is no Rabat in our neighborhood. We do have a high concentration (for 'daVille) of Muslims though... For that reason maybe Paris (the main drag in our neighborhood) should be renamed. After all, our neighborhood has Paris North and Paris Blvd. very confusing!

ReplyDeleteHere's a map of our neighborhood if you want to brush up on your world capitals :) or map out a 5K.
