We went to O'Charley's for dinner on Friday night to celebrate Ray's birthday. The dinner out had nothing to do with the fact that I just didn't feel like making dinner :)
Saturday morning Sam gave Ray the special present he picked out for him (a hot wheels car). Sam was naked when he presented his gift to Ray (he had just gotten out of the shower) so, most of the pictures are inappropriate.
In the afternoon we had a party with grandparents, aunts/uncles, and cousins. We had pizza and salad, opened gifts, and then had cake(s).
Aunt Maegan and Uncle Will had one of the coolest gifts complete with matching t-shirts for the boys. (They can tell you more about it if you know them.) Ray also got a red chair (that matches the one Sam already has), a picnic table for outside, a wagon to share with Sam, some books, clothes, and spending money.
Ray destroyed his caked but never ate more than a bite!
After all this, Ray decided to go back and destroy some paper too.
I'll upload some video to Facebook later so, be on the lookout.Sunday Ray took his first steps! He has only mastered taking two at a time but he is well on his way to walking!
It's hard to believe that Ray is already one year old...

It was such an awesome weekend with the race and his totally rad 1st birthday. Unlike many 1st b-day parties, I think Ray really enjoyed this one:)
