We were created as unique individuals therefore each of our creative sides will be different.
Creativity doesn't have to come in the form of painting, sculpture or music. It can be icing a cake, dancing with two year olds, gardening, arranging a book shelf....
Often times creativity comes to me rather than me finding it.
Often times I get creative ideas and never act on them because they might be stupid or silly or only interesting to me. Last summer I decided I wanted to paint our fence; it still hasn't happened.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; One mans junk is another mans treasure.
I believe God calls us to be creative beings.
I am afraid of paint brushes. But I would love to paint something on a canvas.
A new box of crayons is one of the most beautiful things in the world.
I need to care less about what other people think and just create sometimes.
When I create something it is usually orderly and precise; I need to let that go.
Being creative is daring. It exposes you.
Sam is "awake" from his nap (he never really napped) and I need to be creative about how to get him to nap!
What do you think about creativity?
Creating is the greatest form of worship. When we have finished painting the canvas, writing the story, or planting the garden, the creating should not stop. Each breath, each step, each word spoken, is a chance to destory the world and create it anew. Dream, O Dreamers! Dream!
ReplyDeleteYes, what Matthew said...
