The hand prints found a little home in our "reading nook". That's a shelf full of books behind the fabric curtain. And that's my humble collection of old books on top of the book shelf. Most of them were my grandma's that we read together when I was a kiddo. I found the green apple at Homegoods and bought it because it reminded me of her too.
I have been wanting this for the back room (which is full of speakers, amps, guitars, and an electric organ, of course) for about a year but never pulled the trigger because it was $30 or so. I found it on clearance for $5! Patience pays off.
The plate Mike brought back from Spain found a home above the laundry room door in the kitchen. It may need a friend from "the continent".
The nail I was using to hang my reusable grocery bags on just wasn't holding them anymore. They deserved a proper hook. If you shop at Giant Eagle this bag is my favorite because of the tree and the long handles which makes them easy to carry - all for a buck.
Only you could make an interesting blog of things you've hung over the last week.
ReplyDeletewe'll see what we can conjure up
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that hanging is the very last thing you ever get around to doing? We've been in the house going on five years and there are at least three items under the bed that need hung.:) Glad you finally did it-- they look great.
ReplyDeleteLove the reading nook area. It looks so homey. I love when personal affects are displayed instead of stuffed in a box. Can you tell that clean sweep guy made an impression on me?:o) It's true though!
