Nursing Cover Tutorial

A few weeks ago, I made a nursing cover for a baby shower gift for my friend, Heather.  There are lots of tutorials out there but, they are all different!  I have put together how I make them in a photo tutorial on Flickr.  You can find it here.  (If you would prefer that I make one for you, please send me a message and we can discuss cost and fabric.)

Skill Level:  Can you sew a straight line?  This is a great beginner project.

Time:  An hour or less (depending on how many little boys are helping you).

Supplies needed:  Basic sewing supplies, 1 yard of fabric, coordinating thread, 2 D Rings (I normally use metal but these plastic ones were on clearance for $0.25!), 16 inches of boning.

And when you are all done, you'll need a willing model.

If you decide to make one, I'd love to see it (send me a link)!  Here are a few others I've made in the past.  Did you make something this week?  You can share it on Sew and Tell Fridays and
