Guest Posting and Blog Happenings

Today, I have a guest post over at My Four Monkeys.  Angie is having a whole week of craft tutorials over there so, check it out.  Thanks again for asking me to write a tutorial post for you, Angie!  If you are stopping by from her blog be sure to say, "hello".  Here's a sneak peak at my Elephant Messenger Bag tutorial which you can see here.

Speaking of tutorials, keep coming back this week because I am going to be posting several of them.  One is how to make this nursing cover (in about an hour):

I also have a giveaway on my 300th blog post (see previous post) for a set of fabric elephants.  These can be used for teaching colors, counting or any other creative thing you can think of!

If you are interested in me guest posting on your blog, please send me an email.

Did you make something this week?  Share is on Sew and Tell Fridays and and

  1. Love the mama elephants. They might be papas too, but with the nursing cover and all, they look like mamas!

  8. I love your nursing cover fabric. I've made several of these over the past couple of years to give as gifts. They're so fun, easy, and practical. When I was nursing babies, my cover was very, very basic. (I say that it was a "first generation" cover.) I eventually got so good at hiding that I didn't need one. However, if I were still in the birthing stage of life, I'd love to have one of these new fashionable covers.

By the way, your elephant colors/counting idea is cute and clever!

  9. I love the title of your blog - it's DS's favorite book! We recite it in the car, bathtub, in line at the grocery store, etc. etc.
