11 Months Old!

This past Wednesday (4/15) Ray turned 11 months old. We are now on the home stretch to his big milestone of reaching 1! Although, he seems to reach "milestones" every day. Some of his new tricks include:

- Standing unassisted for 30 seconds. Today I counted to see how long he stood he was even bouncing his knees up and down.
- Cruising all over the house with a push toy.
- Eating everything in sight. So far today (it's 1pm) he has had 2 (8oz) Bottles, 1 (6 oz) bottle, a banana, a handful of cheerios, a fruit cup, a few crackers, and half a bagel. I know it's a ton of food but he really is eating it all! Don't worry he gets his veggies in later in the day. Maybe his appetite is finally catching up to his energy level.
- "Clacking" his tongue. That's what Sam calls the noise you make when you put you tongue on the roof of your mouth and well, clack.
- We think he is trying to say, "Ray"; it comes out as "Rah" (that's what Sam used to say for "Ray" too.). He has already mastered Mama and Dada and I'm sure he will come up with something for Sam soon.
- He is sitting in a big boy front facing car seat.
- He loves being outside which I am thrilled about after last summers sensitivity to heat. I'm pretty sure he will hug a tree before the summer is over.
- Goes all night with out eating (FINALLY!).
- If you sing "If you're happy and you know it..." he claps at the appropriate times.
- Eating strawberries.

I'm sure there are lots more things he is doing that I can't think of off the top of my head.

His 11 month picture was challenging to get - he doesn't stay still. This is the best one and it features a twisted tongue.
