So, the boys had a stomach bug. Monday and Tuesday looked a lot like this (well, and much nastier too but I'll spare
By Tuesday evening the boys seemed to be feeling a little better and I was ready to get out of the house. We met Mike at Panera and then followed him back to Dublin Jerome High School (where he teaches) for the Dodge Ball tournament that he agreed to be a part of. His team was the Matadors and they wore red tee's and waved red pieces of fabric. Clever and appropriate unlike the Indians who wore short, very short, cut off jean shorts and fur hanging from their belt loops (these were boys and yes the fur looked like...). Apparently dress code does not apply to the Dodge Ball tournament. Mike may or may not have been the very first person out in the entire tournament. I'll leave those details to him.
"If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball."
Poor guys! I dread the possibility of both of them being sick at the same time. Omri's had a good track record... so far... knock on wood!
ReplyDeleteThats a great photo of Sam, poor little guys.
ReplyDeleteI was, yes, the first one out in the tournament. I might add that I was also the first to throw a ball... don't ask about the effectiveness of that that throw.
ReplyDeletePoor things! Hope they're feeling better now...
